Nothing special. Just a big open space with poker tables. The atmosphere of this room is what separates it from other rooms. I haven't been there in 3 years and it is still as I remember it. The locals there are the worst of the worst. Bad attitudes and arguments are required to play in this pit of despair. This place is seriously the last resort for a lot of players. The Orleans is the only place a lot of the troubled players are allowed to play. Just a horrible room because of the clientele it attracts.
Mostly locals who know how to play standard poker.
I'm going to give the dealers kudos cause anyone who works there deserves The Nobel Peace Prize for not punching any of the players in the face. Kept the games going and didn't give any stare downs at players who stiffed them. And trust me when I say they were stiffed a lot. Which goes to show you the types of players that play there.
She came around often and you'll be glad she did cause you'll need a stiff drink to put up with the vibe of the room.

The Orleans Poker Room
The Orleans poker room was the second to open on June 4, 2020 in Las Vegas after the COVID-19 closure. It started out four-handed on the first day but quickly went to five seats per table after state regulatory approval. It later added partitions that allowed it to deal to six players per cash game. That number is now eight per table. The Orleans poker room is open 24 hours.
Omaha hi/lo is the most popular game at The Orleans poker room. You will often find more tables running of it here than the other poker rooms in Las Vegas combined. It also spreads Texas Hold’em and mixed games. There are no poker tournaments spread now at The Orleans.
The Orleans poker room cash games
Omaha hi/lo is the most common cash game at The Orleans. The standard limits are 4/8 and 8/16 with a half-hill. A 15/30 Omaha 8 or better game may pop up at busy times. A 4/8 Omaha hi game appears occasionally.
Fixed limit Texas Hold’em is also popular at The Orleans poker room. Several 2/4, 4/8 and 8/16 games run during busier hours. No limit Hold’em blinds are usually 1/3 or 2/5.
The Orleans poker tournaments
There are three tournament structures offered by The Orleans poker room. Monday through Thursday at 7:05pm, there is a $150 tournament. At 11:05am Monday through Saturday, there is a $100 one.
There is a $130 tournament on Fridays at 7:05pm with a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Saturday night Orleans poker tournament is a $150 no limit Hold’em one with $50 bounties. The Sunday 11:05am tournament is $200 no limit Texas Hold’em with a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. There is a rake-free $100 add-on.
The 7:05pm tournament on Monday is $100 pot limit Omaha hi/lo. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it is $100 no limit Hold’em. Wednesday at 7:05pm is fixed limit Omaha hi/lo with A $100 buy-in.
